Another Exciting Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Preview Arrives
Ready for another look at Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.? Earlier today, we shared the seven-second teaser, which showed us some of the action in store for ABC's new series, and now we have a bigger peek at the series. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. focuses on the global law enforcement organization S.H.I.E.L.D., which has been featured in the various Marvel films in recent years, including The Avengers. As the newest preview reminds us, Clark Gregg's Agent Phil Coulson will be at the center of this series.
The drama comes from Joss Whedon, who directed The Avengers and has given us such TV gems as Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Firefly. Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will have Coulson assembling a small, highly trained team of agents to deal with yet-to-be classified cases. Brett Dalton will play combat and espionage expert Agent Grant Ward. Ming-Na Wen plays pilot and martial artist Agent Melinda May. Iain De Caestecker and Elizabeth Henstridge are set to play Agents Leo Fitz and Jemma Simmons, two brilliant but socially awkward scientists. And Angel's J. August Richards Is also set to appear, though ABC doesn't have him listed among the cast on their site, nor have they specified his character yet.
From the glimpses we've seen so far, it looks like there's plenty of action in store. The final moment of this preview gives us a teeny bit of humor too, as Coulson advises that guy to stay away from Lola. On that note, hopefully we'll see a clip or two soon enough to give us an earful of the dialogue, which I'm hoping will be as entertaining as these exciting glimpses have been so far.
