Another Season Of Scrubs? As You Wish

The good news is, it looks like Scrubs really will be back for an eighth season. The bad news is, we still don’t know what network it’s going to be on. Ok, that’s not really bad news because the only thing that really matters is that the show will go on! And we’ve got some pictures and info about this week’s new episode that should please anyone who loves The Princess Bride! (Spoiler warning)
Ok, be warned, there’s some minor spoilage in this article so if you don’t want to know anything about this week’s episode, read no further!
Scrubs star Zach Braff posted on his blog that Scrubs is currently shooting 18 episodes for the 8th season. He went on to say that he’s not allowed to tell us where we’ll be getting to see the season but that there’s “more news to come.”
Meanwhile, fans of The Princess Bride are likely to love this week’s episode, titled “My Princess.” In the episode, Dr. Cox tells his son a fairy-tale-type bedtime story, which features the staff of Sacred Heart. Eliot is Princess Eliot and J.D. plays the village idiot, who is summoned to rescue the princess. Carla and Turk are the two-headed Turla, while Dr. Cox casts himself as the knight in shining armor. Hey, it’s his story, right?
Check out some pictures from the episode, which airs on Thursday, May 8th at 8:30 p.m. EST on NBC, in the gallery below!
