Arrow 'Birds Of Prey' Photos And Episode Description Tease An 'Epic Battle'

After a week with no new Arrow, the CW is making amends this week, not only by airing the much anticipated "Suicide Squad" episode this Wednesday night, but also by offering up some new photos from next week's episode, "Birds of Prey." Check them out ahead along with the episode description that teases an epic battle!
Spoiler alert: As mentioned, the description and photos coming up are for next week's episode (Wednesday, March 26), which is the one after this Wednesday's "Suicide Squad" so if you're not up for looking further ahead than the next new episode, turn back now!
Ok, as you may have surmised by the title, "Birds of Prey" will have a pretty big focus on Canary. Based on the description, it looks like she'll be facing off with Helena aka The Huntress, who's in town after her father is arrested. And wouldn't you know it, Laurel's involved in the legal case...
WHEN THE HUNTRESS MET THE CANARY — When Frank Bertinelli (guest star Jeffrey Nordling) is arrested, Oliver (Stephen Amell) knows it’s only a matter of time before his daughter, Helena, AKA The Huntress (guest star Jessica De Gouw), returns to town. To make matters worse, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) is picked to try Frank’s case, putting her right in the path of Helena. Oliver tells Sara (Caity Lotz) he will handle his ex-girlfriend, but when Helena takes hostages at the courthouse, including Laurel, the Canary will stop at nothing to save her sister. When The Huntress and Canary meet, an epic battle begins. Meanwhile, Roy (Colton Haynes) realizes he needs to keep Thea (Willa Holland) safe, but doesn’t like the way he is forced to go about it. John Behring directed the episode written by Mark Bemesderfer & A.C. Bradley (#217).
I'm thinking this is a glimpse of Laurel with the other hostages. What is she up to? Is that Canary's baton?
And it looks like she'll be coming face to masked face with her sister.
Would Laurel not recognize her own sister?
And then there's Huntress...

Kelly put her life-long love of movies, TV and books to greater use when she joined CinemaBlend as a freelance TV news writer in 2006, and went on to serve as the site’s TV Editor before joining the staff full-time in 2011 and moving over to other roles at the site. At present, she’s an Assistant Managing Editor who spends much of her time brainstorming and editing features, analyzing site data, working with writers and editors on content planning and the workflow, and (of course) continuing to obsess over the best movies and TV shows (those that already exist, and the many on the way). She graduated from SUNY Cortland with BA in Communication Studies and a minor in Cinema Studies.
