Arrow 'Heir To The Demon' Photos Tease Lance Family Drama And Katrina Law's Nyssa Al Ghul

Lance family

Between Sarah's return and Laurel's problems, the Lance family drama seems like it's at an all-time high. So it's no surprise at all to note that the photos for this week's "Heir to the Demon" put Quentin Lance's family front and center. The image above shows Paul Blackthorne, Katie Cassidy and guest star Alex Kingston seated at the table, hovering around a tray of something that looks cheesy-yummy-good. And goodness me, is that a smile on Laurel's face?

We know from the excellent preview for the episode that "Heir to the Demon" will feature an appearance by Spartacus beauty Katrina Law, who will play Nyssa al Ghul of the League of Assassins. Here she is, looking ready to fire...

But the photos also indicate that Quentin will be facing both of his daughters' issues. For Sarah, it's Nyssa's wrath...

And for Laurel, it's her substance abuse issues, which she's been reluctant to deal with (beyond indulging in them). But it seems like maybe she's turned a corner, as she looks like she's crying here in this photo of her with Moira Queen and her father:

You'll find even more photos from the episode, including some great ones of Canary getting rough with some guy in the gallery below. Also, here's the previously released preview for the episode, which teases the possibility that Nyssa and Sarah's relationship might be more than just the friends/co-assassin kind.

Arrow airs Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. on CW.
