Arrow Season 2, 'Blast Radius' Gets An Action-Packed Extended Preview
With less than a week before Arrow returns to our televisions with new episodes, the CW has given us a better preview of next week’s “Blast Radius.” The above video clocks in at a minute, twice the length of the vague but action-packed first teaser for the episode. Like the last video, this one gives us an earful of Rob Zombie’s “Rock and Roll (in a Black Hole)” while showing off some of the episode’s more suspenseful moments, but adds on a couple interesting plot clues.
It looks like Laurel’s growing suspicious of Sabastian Blood whose popularity is “surging,” based on the news clip showing in the screen behind Laurel during one scene. We know from the images we saw from “Blast Radius” that Arrow will be coming face to face with Blood…
…but is he looking at him with Laurel’s suspicions in mind? If it were Oliver (out of costume) shaking Blood’s hand, I might say so, but seeing them looking chummy while Oliver’s in his Arrow costume makes me curious, as Arrow’s not usually all that polite when he doesn’t like someone.
Moving on, the trailer also teases a bit of Roy’s rage, which hasn’t gone unnoticed by Thea. Is he going to answer her truthfully or is Thea going to remain pretty much completely in the dark about everything that’s going on around her?
If you want a few more very detailed details about the episode, here’s the thorough (SPOILERY) episode description for “Blast Radius.”
Arrow returns Wednesday, January 15 at 8:00 p.m. ET on CW.
