Arrow Trailer, Photos And Details For 'The Man Under The Hood'
SPOILERS if you haven't seen tonight's "Deathstroke" episode of Arrow!
Note the date on the preview for Arrow's "The Man Under the Hood." That's right, after tonight's intense "Deathstroke" episode, Arrow is on another mini-hiatus. But on the bright side, it's just one week of no new episodes before the drama returns for what's left of Season 2. We have an official synopsis for the episode as well as some photos! Spoilers if you haven't seen "Deathstroke" yet!
Slade certainly has some tricks up his sleeve and they involve a fair amount of tattling. Thea now knows that her father is Malcolm Merlyn and Slade unloaded an equally shocking secret on Laurel about who Oliver really is. That's probably the "new secret" that's mentioned in the description for the episode...
There's no mention of Roy in the synopsis. But it sounds like Thea's about to lose it, and if we take into account everything she's been through -- getting dumped and kidnapped, finding out her mother and Oliver have been lying to her and that Malcolm Merlyn is her father -- that's not all that surprising. And it's probably exactly what Slade wants. He's clearly making this as personal as it can get.
Let's look at the pictures from the next new Arrow ep, as some of them show what might be Slade's attack on Arrow's lair. It looks like he caught Canary unmasked and unarmed...
but based on this photo, it looks like she'll walk away from it.
I think the shirt in the attack pictures is the same shirt she was wearing during tonight's episode. She's dressed differently and it looks like there's a Team Arrow meeting happening there.

And then there's this. Which I'm guessing is Slade's army-in-progress.
Just a bit of speculation here, but it looks like Slade has the prisoners hooked up to something. Is that Mirakuru going through those tubes? What's the red fluid? Blood or something else? Not good, either way.
Arrow airs Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. ET on CW. Be sure to keep an eye out for our thorough breakdown of tonight's episode, coming soon!
