Betrayal Episode 2: Except When A Bear Is Chasing You Preview And Photos
Watching last night's premiere of Betrayal on ABC, it was hard to tell what the primary focus of the series would be, as the premiere episode spent most of its time introducing us to the budding clandestine love affair between Sara and Jack, and then threw in a murder trial which will affect both of their families. Is the murder the main focus of this series or the affair? Looking at the preview for what's ahead, it's still hard to say, though it seems evident that they're linked and will remain so throughout this soapy drama.
The preview teases more run-ins between Jack and Sara after last night's episode saw them wasting no time consummating their new relationship. But what happens now that Sara's learned that Jack is the attorney on her husband's big case? Based on the episode description for "Except When a Bear is Chasing You," it looks lie she's going to try to moved past this whole affair business and get things back on track with her husband.
Right, so pretend like it never happened and just move on. I don't see that going so well. But points for effort?
As the preview and the episode description suggest, it looks like Drew will get to meet Jack, and there will be a bit of office awkwardness when Sara drops by:
And I guess Sara will pretend like she didn't have sexy photography-loft sex with him…
And maybe they'll have a tense conversation on the sidewalk…
…after which Sara will walk away and almost get hit by a taxi in the process?

Not always easy to tell what's going on in episode stills, but I'm sticking with my theories until the series returns next Sunday night for Episode 2.
