The Biggest Loser Season 13 Preview: No Excuses
Less than a month after the weight loss competition series wrapped up its twelfth season, NBC is set to bring The Biggest Loser back for Season 13. It’s the season of “no excuses” and it offers a couple of interesting twists. Watch the videos ahead for a glimpse at what’s to come for the latest crop of aspiring losers.
Hosted by Alison Sweeney, The Biggest Loser Season 13 will feature trainers Bob Harper and Dolvett Quince, who will attempt to get this season’s contestants to lose weight and get healthy. One of the biggest twists this season sounds like it’ll involve how the teams work. While people will come into the show in teams of two, they won’t be competing alongside each other. They’ll be surprised to learn that they’re not only being split up with their teammate from the start, but they’ll also be competing against them.
20 contestants will start out the season, but only 18 will make it into the ranch and stay in the running to win the season’s $250,000 grand prize. “No excuses” is another theme this season, as you’ll note in one of the videos below.
The Biggest Loser Season 13 premieres Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. Et on NBC.
