Bob Saget Gets Roasted

This I’ve got to see. Comedy Central announced that Bob Saget will be roasted this August. And who will serve as Roast Master for the event? One hint: Have Mercy. That’s right, John Stamos (who played Uncle Jesse in Full House, alongside Saget – in case you’re too young or were too cool to watch the series when it was on) is set to host the event, which will air on Comedy Central on Sunday, August 17th at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.
Among the people set to do the honor of thoroughly roasting Danny Tanner on the Comedy Central Roast of Bob Saget are Susie Essman, Greg Giraldo, Artie Lange, Tracy Morgan and Jeffrey Ross. Saget appears to be prepared for the event, stating ”It's an honor...My ass is already sore.” In case you’re thinking Saget might not be deserving of such an award for all of the bedside chats (cheesy music playing in the background) he gave to DJ, Stephanie and Michelle over the years on Full House, remember that it was also Saget who forced us to endure hours upon hours of footage of people getting hit in the junk on America’s Funniest Home Videos. If you ask me, this roast is long overdue. Best of luck, Saget.
This last promo is oddly hypnotic:
Kudos to whichever twisted individual came up with the above promo. I’m going to have weird tetris-like visions behind my eyes from that tonight when I try to go to sleep.
