Breaking Pointe, Whose Line Is It Anyway And Other CW Shows Get July Premiere Dates
Tis the season to start daydreaming about summer! For The CW, summer not only brings the return of the dance-focused reality series Breaking Pointe, but also the network's new dating competition series Perfect Score and the revival of the beloved sketch comedy series Whose Line is it Anyway. The CW also has an intense new wilderness competition called The Hunt lined up for late in July.
The CW's summer line-up begins with Whose Line is it Anyway, an improv-focused sketch comedy series, which will see the return of Whose Line veterans Ryan Stiles, Wayne Brady and Colin Mochrie. The fourth spot among the improvisational funny people will be left over for guest appearances. Aisha Tyler is on board to host. The series premieres Tuesday, July 16, along with Perfect Score, a dating competition series hosted by Arielle Kebbel, which offers contestants the opportunity to win and date, and maybe some cash too. The half-hour series will have players taking compatibility tests, which are used to assign cash values to each possible match. The player who selects the most compatible single with the highest cash value wins the prize and a date. Sounds different and sort of fun, so we'll have to wait and see how that one looks.
Breaking Pointe will premiere July 29 and will return to its focus on the inner workings of Salt Lake City ballet company, Ballet West. Finally, there's The Hunt, a competition series that will have twelve teams of 2 left in a wilderness arena where they'll live for a month and compete against each other for resources in the hopes of winning a $250,000 prize. Sounds like the Hunger Games, only less bloody (hopefully). Here's the full schedule of premieres.
