Brooklyn Decker Will Guest Star On New Girl
Actress and model Brooklyn Decker has spent the last couple of years trying to invigorate her acting career on the big screen in flicks like Battleship and Just Go With It. The actress, who started her career on the small screen with parts in Chuck and Ugly Betty, will now return to television to wreak a little havoc. The lovely celebrity will guest star in a Season 2 episode of Fox’s New Girl where she will play a love interest, but for whom?
According to EW, Decker will play the bar-loving Holly, who also happens to have a thing for men who have recently broken up with their significant other. Meeting up with the New Girl guys at Nick’s bar, the three men will try to compete for her affections, each using stories about heartache as weapons to vie for her love. It sounds sort of romantic, in a really creepy way. Luckily, since Decker is only sticking around for one episode, it’s unlikely the heartache tactics will be effective. The episode will be called “The Cooler” and it will air sometime in 2013.
The What To Expect When You’re Expecting actress is only one of several guest stars that have been added to the Season 2 cast. Tuesday’s episode marked the first appearance of The Newsroom actress Olivia Munn on Fox’s comedy. Additionally, Carla Gugino, Rob Reiner, and Jamie Lee Curtis have popped up into the cast in Season 2. We'll keep you posted if New Girl manages to add any other big names.
Fox’s New Girl airs Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. ET.
