Bruce Jenner Will Document Change In New Reality Series
There have been a lot of changes afoot in the Kardashian family over the last couple of years. Khloe and Lamar broke up. Kanye and Kim got married. Bruce and Kris Jenner split up. And Bruce Jenner is undergoing a transformation that his family seems to be supportive of. Now, reports indicate that Bruce plans to document his “journey” through a reality TV docuseries.
Recently, Kim Kardashian spoke out about Bruce going on a journey, telling ET that Bruce will “share” his story whenever the time is right, also noting her former stepdad seems happy.
Apparently, that time will come sooner rather than later, as TMZ is reporting footage for the new TV program has already been shot over the last few months. The episode will also focus on how Kris Jenner and the kids are handling the changes. If Kim’s comments are any indication, it’s mostly being handled fine, but the site notes that Kris might not have had the same reaction, at least not at first. We should find out soon. The docuseries is expected to air on E! at some point soon.
Following his split with Kris Jenner, stories about Bruce Jenner began surfacing in the news media, including reports that the former Olympic athlete had his Adam’s Apple shaved down and more. The man grew out his hair and underwent a few plastic surgeries, leading many to believe Jenner was seeking some sort of change in his gender. Currently, everyone related to the situation is staying mum about what Bruce Jenner has been up to for the past year. Regardless, it looks like that might be changing, soon, and--no surprise--E! will be there for every moment of it.
Bruce Jenner appeared on many seasons of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, but even with all those episodes under his belt, it was always clear that the show really belonged to his wife and children. With this docu-series, he should get the chance to step into the reality spotlight fully for the first time. Instead of a background character, he will be the center of attention, for better or for worse. Hopefully, that will allow him to portray his story in a far more accurate, straightforward light, whatever that story might be.
Since E! loves any opportunity for a promotion, we’ll be sure to let you know when Jenner’s new docuseries gains momentum and a title, not to mention a premiere date. Stay tuned.
