Busy Philipps, Kristin Bauer And Others Share Embarrassing Moments In The Mortified Sessions Season 2
Sundance Channel is bringing back more embarrassing confessions from the stars with a second season of The Mortified Sessions. The unique interview series gives stars of today the chance to tell the tales from before they were famous, sharing the most mortifying memories and mementos of childhood and the road to stardom.
Among the stars slated to take the hot seat for Season 2 of The Mortified Sessions are Busy Philipps of Cougar Town, Adam Goldberg of Saving Private Ryan, Jason Ritter of Parenthood, Kristin Bauer from True Blood and Gillian Jacobs of Community. Busy Philipps will kick of the second season on Monday, October 8th.
From confessions of childhood geekiness and outcast status to one star admitting that they once wrote a check for pot and even wrote “dope” in the ledger (watch the promo below to see which star pulled that one off – it might surprise you), the series is an unexpected look at the people we watch on TV and in the movies and how they, just like everyone else, have plenty of blush-worthy moments in their past.
The Mortified Sessions comes from host David Nadelberg’s revelation upon discovering an old love letter towards the end of the 90s. His decision to share the letter birthed a “storytelling project” and book series that eventually found its way to television on the Sundance Channel. Last season Breaking Bad’s Bryan Cranston and Will and Grace’s Megan Mullally were among the guests.
The Mortified Sessions Season 2 premieres Monday, October 8 at 10:00pm ET/PT on Sundance.
