CBS Primetime 2011-2012 Schedule Announced: The Good Wife And Rules Of Engagement Shift To The Weekend

CBS has announced their primetime schedule for the upcoming 2011-2012 season, introducing very few new shows but shuffling around some of their established properties in attempts to directly compete with some of the other networks. The Good Wife has been moved to Sunday evenings, airing opposite Desperate Housewives on ABC, while returning sitcom Rules of Engagement has been moved to Saturday nights, where it will be the only original programming before comedy and crime show re-runs, then the 48 Hours Mystery. They're bolstering their Monday night comedy lineup with the new show 2 Broke Girls, and pairing The Big Bang Theory on Thursday nights with another new comedy How To Be A Gentleman. There's also a few new inspirational and crime dramas sprinkled in there, because after all, that's what CBS does best.

Check out the full lineup below, and check back later today for links to the full preview pieces for all the new shows.
