Californication Season 5 Preview: The Cast Answers Fan Questions
Hank Moody returns soon. Let's rejoice, shall we? It's been a tough and trying few months without Californication adding some much needed laughs (and, oh some sexiness too) to cap off the weekend. With Monday looming large, it's always comforting to know that you still have one more night to spend with Hank before heading off to our regularly scheduled weekday lives. It's even more comforting to know, that no matter how big of a train wreck your life has become, you'll probably never going to hold a candle to Mr. Moody.
It was already announced, and showcased in this sweet video, that the fifth season of the hit Showtime series - from writer/director Tom Kapinos - will feature a plethora of awesome guest stars, adding to the long list of celebs who have stopped by the L.A. set for a cameo or recurring role. This year, Hank spends a lot of his time hanging out in a somewhat different musical crowd than his second season experiences with aging rocker Lew Ashby (the great Callum Keith Rennie) after being approached by rapper Samurai Apocalypse (RZA) to collaborate on a project. Moody the OG? I like it.
This new promo video is more fun than informative but it still gives you some time to hang out behind the scenes with the series stars - and who wouldn't want to do that? First off, David Duchovny, Natascha McElhone, Evan Handler and Pamela Adlon are all super cool and really invested in the show, offering up some funny yet candid answers to these fan questions. Personally, I think Adlon is hilarious and alone makes the video worth a watch. Duchovny, Handler and the beautiful McElhone aren't so bad either. See what the stars have to say when asked about their characters, the tough parts of the job and if we'll ever get a Californication film. Will we? Watch and see.
Californication returns to Showtime for its fifth season on Sunday, January 8 at 10:30 p.m. ET. It stars David Duchovny, Natascha McElhone, Madeleine Martin, Evan Handler, Pamela Adlon, Madeline Zima and Steven Tobolowsky. Joining this season in guest spots are the RZA, Meagan Good, Drea de Matteo and Scott Michael Foster. It was created by Tom Kapinos.
