At this point in the fall, it starts to get tricky trying to keep track of what shows have been renewed and which ones have been canceled, and which ones are still undecided. To simplify things, we have a list of all of the shows airing on the five major networks — ABC, CBS, CW, FOX and NBC — in the 2013-2014 season (fall and winter series), and their updated statuses.
We have the returning series’ listed along with the new shows, as their statuses may be updated over the next few months, and next Spring in particular, but it’s the new series we really want to keep an eye out for, as their fates are far more fragile. Some shows have already received their back-nine orders, meaning their respective networks have decided to pick up an additional nine episodes and keep them around for a full first season at least. Others have already been canceled. And there are more than a few whose fates have yet to be decided one way or the other, which is why we’re running this list. We’ll do our best to keep it updated when we hear news as the season resumes.
