Catch Live Earth On Bravo And NBC This Weekend
Whether you believe that global warming is as bad as Al Gore says it is or not, chances are you’re a fan of at least one of the many bands or musicians set to rock the planet this weekend during the world-wide concert, Live Earth. If that’s the case, even if you aren’t able to get to one of the major cities where the event is taking place, you’ll still be able to catch coverage of it throughout the day on Bravo and NBC.
In cased you’ve somehow managed to avoid the news coverage for this event, Live Earth is a 24-hour concert series set to take place on seven continents in an effort to raise awareness of global warming. Live Earth calls itself “The concerts for a climate in crisis” and will feature performances by more famous musicians than you can shake a stick at. Kelly Clarkson, Smashing Pumpkins, Akon, Roger Waters, Dave Matthews Band, Genesis, The Beastie Boys, Foo Fighters, Duran Duran and of course, U2 are all among the artists set to perform during the day-long concert.
The concerts will be available to view online at www.liveearth.msn.com. You can also check out the coverage all day on Saturday (7/7/07) on BRAVO between the hours of 9:00 a.m. EST and 2:00 a.m. CNBC will start covering the event and hour earlier and run to 2:00 a.m. as well. NBC will be airing coverage on Saturday night between 8:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.
