Cinema Verite Preview: HBO Takes On An American Family
If you have HBO, you may have already seen the promos for their upcoming TV movie Cinema Verite. The film stars James Gandolfini, Tim Robbins and Diane Lane and is based on an actual family that was filmed for a reality show back in the ‘70’s.
Cinema Verite is about the making of a PBS documentary series called An American Family, which was an actual show made back in the ‘70’s. It should be interesting to see a dramatic take on the things going on behind the scenes during one of TV’s earliest examples of reality television programming.
Below is HBO's description for the movie and further down are the trailer, poster and some photos.
