BBC News is reporting the website CinemaNow will offer its customers FOX TV shows starting this July. Currently on the block are season 1 of both The Jack Baur Hour of Power and 'Buffy: The Vampire Slayer'. This should spruce up CinemaNow a bit, as right now the only shows you can buy are the first seasons of 'Babylon 5' and 'The Dukes of Hazard'. Notice I said “buy”? The TV rentals section is a bit saucier, with classy selections such as ‘Blind Date Extremely Uncensored Games’ and ‘Laura Sin Censura 6’.
The company has also said they have reached agreements with Warner Bros for rights to their TV shows and Disney for their movies. Yeah, there’s a good mix: enjoy The Lizzie McGuire Movie as a prelude to your feature of ‘Jerry Springer Uncensored: Hot & Hostile 2: Feisty’. Of course, I kid because I love. And by that I mean I could care less. DVD is still my medium of choice for owning TV shows.
