The Cleaner Gets A Second Season

A&E threw their hat back in the cable drama series ring this year when they premiered their new original show The Cleaner and it appears the network is happy with the series’ performance because they’ve decided to pick it up for a second season.

The Cleaner is a drama series that stars Benjamin Bratt who plays an extreme interventionist. The show is A&E’s first scripted series in over six years. According to The Hollywood Reporter, it’s averaged a total of 4.2 million total viewers combined over its three weekly telecast. Not bad for a cable series. HR also reports that production for 13 new episodes will begin soon. The episodes should be airing sometime next year.

More information about The Cleaner can be found on A&E’s website.
