It looks as though “That Girl” and “Coach” are going to be doing a bit of guest starring pretty soon. E! Online’s Kristin Veitch reported in her blog that her sources say Marlo Thomas will be guest starring on Ugly Betty at some point in the second season.
In case you weren’t around when Thomas’ That Girl was on the air (that was back in the 60’s), you might remember her better as Rachel’s mom in Friends. According to Veitch, in Betty, Thomas will be playing an “advertising bigwig” with a thing for younger guys – specifically, Daniel Meade.
Veitch also reported that My Name Is Earl insiders say former Coach! star, Craig T. Nelson is going to be joining the cast of Earl, playing the warden at the Camden County Jail where Earl is currently being held, as of the end of last season.
With Earl locked up, its likely that his brother and friends are really missing him. Check out this video they made in an effort to get him freed:
