Comedic Actor Harvey Korman Dies
Today the world is short one great comedic actor. It’s been reported that Harvey Korman died today due to “complications from the rupture of an abdominal aortic aneurysm four months ago.” He was 81-years-old.
Korman began his work as an actor in television back in the 60’s and spent the following decades making people laugh. He got his first big break on The Danny Kaye Show but many remember him best from The Carol Burnett Show. Since then, Korman’s had numerous roles in television and film. From his IMDB page, it looks like Korman continued to work all the way through the 90’s, appearing in Ellen, ER and Suddenly Susan, as well as lending his voice to Nickelodeon’s Hey Arnold! and Disney’s animated series, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command.
His film credits include Blazing Saddles, History of the World Part 1 and High Anxiety. Needless to say, the man certainly left his mark on the entertainment industry and will surely be missed.
