Comedy Central Renews Tosh.0 For A Fourth Season
If you’re a fan of watching Daniel Tosh sift through the internet on Comedy Central, there’s good news. Comedy Central has renewed the series for a fourth season, giving the show a 26 episode order for Season 4.
Comedy Centrals head of original programming and production Kent Alterman made the announcement, stating that Season 4 will consist of 26 episodes, which will begin airing January 2012.
Comedy Central’s Tosh.0 features host Daniel Tosh, armed with cleverness and witty quips, as he navigates through the latest popular internet videos and other pop-culture tidbits.
"Daniel is still trying to figure out what his show is and we thought it would only be right to give him another season to work it out, especially since so many millions of people are watching it,” Alterman said in an amusing statement. The series is currently averaging 4.2 million total viewers and a 2.9 Adult 18-49 rating, which makes it Comedy Central’s most watched and highest-rated series. It’s likely that may also have played a factor in the network’s decision to keep it around.
Here’s a clip from tonight’s episode, which features a cheerleader having her say after a video of her taking a fall during a maneuver made its way online.
