Comic-Con: New Info About Season 4 Of Lost

Those of us who caught the season finale of ‘Lost’ this year had our minds virtually blown by a fairly unexpected twist in the final moments of the episode. If you’ve fallen way behind on your ‘Lost’ viewing, I advise you to read no further. Some new information about the fourth season of ‘Lost’ was released this week at Comic-Con. Could ‘Lost’ be moving to Fridays?

The possibility that show might abandon its Wednesday night timeslot was one of the things that ’Lost’ fansite, TheTailSection.com reported as being discussed at Comic-Con this week. The site reports that ‘Lost’ cocreator Damon Lindelof dropped a “subtle hint” about the show’s possible move to Friday nights when it returns in February. Last season ‘Lost’ was bumped back an hour, most likely to steer clear of the ratings-giant, ‘American Idol.’ A 10:00 p.m. timeslot isn’t the ideal place to put a show that’s ratings have begun to slip. I’m not sure moving it to Fridays would solve the problem either, though.

TheTailSection.com.com also reported that the name of the smoke-monster is actually Cerberus and we should be learning more about it in the next season. There will be more flashbacks and flash-forwards but it won’t be clear how far into the past or future they take place. Harold Perrineau will return at some point early in the series. We will also be learning more about Libby this season. They couldn’t promise fans any new information about Danielle because her story coincides with something else on the island but they wouldn’t give any details about that.

Season Four of ‘Lost’ will premiere in February 2008. The DVD set for the third season of ‘Lost’ will be released on December 11, 2007
