I think the best part of last night’s episode of Community was Troy and Abed’s determination to curb their weirdness for a day, which of course, only resulted in them behaving even weirder. Normalcy is an odd color on those two. And then there was the tag, which had Pierce making a mess of things at the soft-serve machine.
For those of you still basking in the glow of last night’s return of NBC’s Community, here are a couple video highlights from the episode, the first of which shows Troy and Abed deciding to purge their weirdness with a 24-hour weird-down.
There’s a part of me that so wants to see what went in in the Dreamatorium, and then the more practical part of me is almost positive I wouldn’t be able to handle it.
Moving on to Pierce, did anyone else feel like the soft-serve machine was a throwback to Chase in his Clark Griswold days?
I’m picturing Griswold trying to plug up the holes in the dam with gum in Vegas Vacation as I watch this. I also had a brief flashback of a Buffy episode in Season 4 when she broke the nozzle on a similar machine (frozen yogurt maybe?).
Funny stuff and a nice bit of random to cap off the episode. Serve yourself probably isn’t a good idea for Pierce.
