Dallas Season 2, Southland Season 5 And Other TNT Premiere Dates Set

With the Fall TV season officially underway, it isn't too soon to start looking ahead at the winter schedule. TNT appears to agree as they've set the premiere dates for a number of new and returning series for later this fall or 2013. That includes the return of Rizzoli & Isles and Dallas, as well as the premiere of their new medical drama Monday Mornings. Also set to return is Southland.
TNT is set to "burn brightly" this winter with six original series. Detective drama Rizzoli & Isles' third season, which began airing last summer, will resume Tuesday, November 27 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. Also set to return that night is Leverage, which was amidst its fifth season last summer and just wrapped up last month. The caper series will be back with new episodes starting November 27 at 10:00 p.m.
Next up we have Dallas and Monday Mornings, both of which are scheduled to return/debut in early 2013 and air on Monday nights. Season 2 of Dallas starts off with a two-hour premiere January 28 (at 9:00 p.m.). And the David E. Kelley/Sanjay Gupta medical drama based on Gupta's book is set to premiere Monday, February 4 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.
Cop drama Southland will be back for Season 5 on Wednesday, February 13 at 10:00 p.m. ET. TNT's also planning a Southland marathon of memorable episodes for that day leading up to the series' return.
And finally, there's Boston's Finest (working title), which is a new series that follows the people working at the Boston Police Department. The show will focus on various units including the exclusive "Gang Unit." Sounds exciting! That one premieres Wednesday, February 27th.
So it seems TNT's winter is a bit heavy on crime-related shows, but with Dallas and Monday Mornings worked into the mix, there's a bit of variety worked into this drama.
