Drew Carey's Improv-a-Ganza Premieres Next Monday
I don’t know about you but I can could do with a good laugh, which is why these videos for Drew Carey’s Improv-a-Ganza couldn’t have arrived at a better time. Having just finished getting caught up on the first two parts of HBO's Mildred Pierce, I needed something to make me smile and these videos did the trick. Next week, Drew Carey's new comedy show will premiere and you can catch a few looks at him and his comedy friends in these clips.
Premiering Monday, April 11, 2011 at 8:00pm ET/PT on GSN, Drew Carey’s Improv-a-Ganza features various improv performances taped at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. In addition to Carey, Kathy Kinney, Sean Masterson, Jonathan Mangum, Chip Esten, Jeff Davis, Colin Mochrie, Greg Proops, Heather Anne Campbell and Ryan Stiles are set to be featured. Wayne Brady will also be making appearances. The first video isn’t quite a clip, though it does include footage from the show. It also takes a look behind the scenes as they discuss the physical aspect of the improv:
Here’s an actual clip from the show, which not only made me laugh but also makes me think of Carey and his friends back when they did the U.S. version of Whose Line Is It Anyway?
