A&E To Showcase Musicians With Private Sessions

Whether you’re a casual fan of a musician or a die-hard fanatic, its always fun to get to see them kicking back, jamming a bit and talking about their craft in a casual atmosphere. A&E is about to premiere a new series, titled ‘Private Sessions,’ which will showcase a different band or musician each week as they perform a song and are interviewed at an intimate studio in New York City.

‘Private Sessions’ will air on Sunday mornings and each week a different musician will perform a song and chat a bit about their work. When the series premieres this Sunday (7/22), Avril Levigne will be the featured musician. She’ll perform her hit song “Girlfriend” and talk with show’s host, Lynn Hoffman.

Among the musical guests set to be featured in future episodes are The Goo Goo Dolls (7/29), Toby Keith (8/5), Blues Traveler (8/12) and Meat Loaf (8/19).

‘Private Sessions’ will premiere on A&E on Sunday, July 22 at 9:00 a.m.
