Ellen Preview: Kristen Bell Shares Her Emotional Reaction To Getting To Meet A Sloth

Today on The Ellen Degeneres Show, House of Lies star Kristen Bell is set to make an appearance on the series. As you’ll see in the video ahead, Bell shares a home video of herself, taken by her boyfriend Dax Shepard (Parenthood) as she reacts to a birthday present he gave her. To say that her reaction is a bit odd is probably an understatement, but it makes for great interview conversation.
Bell is hardly alone in being the type to tear up as much when she’s especially happy as she does when she’s especially sad, but the fact that she was willing to allow documentation of such an extreme reaction to a happy moment just shows what a great sense of humor she has.
The video below is a segment from today’s (January 31st) episode of Ellen, during which the Veronica Mars star talks about her boyfriend’s attempt to give her the ultimate birthday surprise in setting up a meet-and-greet with a sloth, which is apparently an animal she loves. Watch what happens...
As someone prone to the occasional bout of happy tears, I’m in no position to judge Bell for her reaction to the prospect of getting to meet her favorite animal. But she scores major points for sharing the moment on Ellen for laughs.
