One of the most discussed bits from the 2009 MTV Movie Awards was easily the segment in during which Sasha Baron Cohen descended from the ceiling dressed as an angel and landed upside down on Eminem. He then proceeded to stick his bare behind in the rapper’s face, resulting in a bunch of security guards shoving him around and Eminem getting up and storming out. Some people said it was staged while others weren’t so sure. Eminem spoke up about the incident.

MTV.com posted an update on the incident and it looks like Em was definitely in on the gag. This includes the butt-thing and his resulting reaction. "Sacha [Baron Cohen, a.k.a. Brüno] called me when we were in Europe and he had an idea to do something outrageous at the Movie Awards. I'm a big fan of his work so I agreed to get involved with the gag. I'm thrilled that we pulled this off better than we rehearsed it. It had so many people going 'nuts,' so to speak. Everyone was blowing me up about it." As for what he did after he walked out of the auditorium. Eminem said he went back to his hotel and had a good laugh about the whole thing.
I have to give the guy credit. While Cohen’s bare-bottomed performance was typically ridiculous, Eminem played the pissed off victim beautifully.
