Encore Gears Up For Labor Day 80s-Style
Labor day generally marks the end of the summer for most people. Working folks usually get a long weekend and kids attempt to enjoy their last few days of freedom before heading back to school. Encore has big plans for Labor day weekend. I’ll give you a hint – it involves a talking duck, a bunch of nerds, some shrunken kids and an incriminated animated rabbit.
If you guessed a weekend full of 80’s movies, you’d be right! On Friday, August 31st at 8:00 p.m., Encore will kick off their “Big 80’s Weekend.” 80 hours of some classic 80’s cinema. Those of us who grew up in the 80’s surely remember great movies like Project X, Revenge of the Nerds, Dirty Dancing, Wargames, Say Anything…, and Who Framed Roger Rabbit. We also remember some of those crappy movies we secretly loved, like Vice Versa, License to Drive, Howard the Duck, Little Monsters, and Three O’Clock High.
