FOX Pulls Bones Episode In The Wake Of The Virginia Tech Tragedy

After the tragic events at Virginia Tech this week, FOX has decided to change the episode of ‘Bones’ that they had originally intended to air this Wednesday and replace it with a rerun. The episode they pulled was titled “Player Under Pressure” and centered on an investigation involving the remains of a student-athlete, which were found under the bleachers of a college.

Zap2it.com reported that a spokesperson from FOX said, "Out of sensitivity to the victims and families touched by this senseless tragedy, we felt the change was appropriate.” The episode that will play in its place was originally aired back in November. It is titled “Aliens in a Spaceship” and is about a serial killer who buries his victims alive.

There is no word on whether or not Fox will eventually air “Player Under Pressure” at some point in the future.
