Fantastic Fringe Season 4 Teasers Continue To Ask, Where Is Peter Bishop?
I guess it's not enough for Fox's Fringe to be the most interesting, complex, and intricate narrative on television; it also has to have the most compelling marketing campaign. It just goes to show how much creative genius is behind the sprawling, multi-dimensional police procedural. We already showed off the first couple teases for the upcoming fourth season of the science fiction series, but here's the latest one, still asking, "Where is Peter Bishop?"
Before getting to the teasers, it's worth mentioning that if you aren't watching this critically acclaimed, often DVR'd show, you really should be because you won't find something nearly as narratively complex or satisfying on any of the other four major networks. The characters are also impeccably drawn, with Anna Torv and Joshua Jackson doing their best to hold their own against the acting genius that is John Noble.
So, back to the teasers. The first of the series introduced us to the template for all those to come: distorted video of Peter saying ominous and ironic things like "There are things happening here that I can't even begin to explain, and I'm not going anywhere until I can." Well, he's not exactly incorrect because for all we know he didn't go anywhere, he went nowhere...uh, meaning he ceased to exists entirely, which is why our girl Olivia feels so empty in the latest promo: "I know what it's like to have a hole in my life, it's been there as long as I remember." What a promo. Geez. I. Can't. Wait.
