First Look At Brian Austin Green As Smallville’s Metallo

It’s sometimes been said that if you fight an enemy for too long, you run the risk of becoming that enemy. Similarly, if you fight time-traveling cyborgs until your series is cancelled, you run the risk of getting cast as a cyborg yourself on a different network. Brian Austin Green has now fallen prey to what I’ve conveniently dubbed “the Brian Austin Green Corollary,” and TV Guide Magazine has brought us our first look at Green sporting the Kryptonite heart of Metallo from the upcoming season of Smallville.
In the show, John “Metallo” Corben will be a Daily Planet reporter who gets strapped with the green-K ticker after an accident. Green will appear in two episodes beginning with the ninth-season premiere on September 25th. Sure, it’s no Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, but at least Green can take comfort in having work. When he’s not, you know, sleeping with Megan Fox.
