Fox Posts Memorial Site For House Character
I didn’t get to watch House last night and I’m too cheap to spend $2.99 to buy it on iTunes, so I’ll have to wait for it to become available on Hulu. As I’m only a semi-regular viewer of the series, I didn’t realize that last night’s episode would be one of the big must-watch episodes of the series. Sure enough, the news about what happened during last night’s episode is all over the place.
During last night’s episode of House, Dr. Lawrence Kutner (Kal Penn) committed suicide. Fox is giving viewers the opportunity to remember Kutner through a memorial website. The site includes music composed by Hugh Laurie, Kutner’s obituary, messages posted by Princeton Plainsboro coworkers and a link to the Kutner memorial Facebook page. Fans can leave messages remembering Kutner on the facebook page. There are also photos, videos and the widget below:
House supports the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), and in conjunction with the show’s support, fans can purchase a “House-ism” t-shirt (with proceeds benefiting NAMI) at housecharitytees.com or http://www.nami.org/. For information about mental health issues or for more information about NAMI, please visit http://www.nami.org/.
