Fox Working On A Bitchin' New Series

Fox is working on a new series about a bunch of women who are werewolves and guess what it’s called: Bitches. The network is currently developing the project, which will be a dramedy about four women who live in New York and also happen to be werewolves. As ridiculous as the premise sounds, I find myself strangely intrigued.

With all of the buzz surrounding the next Twilight movie, New Moon, which has a pretty big werewolf theme going on in it, it’s not all that surprising that Fox would show an interest in a series that focuses on werewolves. But unlike New Moon in which all of the werewolves (ok, most) are men, Bitches is all about the females. I’m sure you’ve figured out the implication in the name by now.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, if Bitches goes to series, TV writing duo Gretchen Berg and Aaron Harberts, whose other writing credits include Women’s Murder Club, Pushing Daisies, Roswell, Wonderfalls and Pepper Dennis will come on board to supervise Bitches feature writer Michael Dougherty and exec-produce the project, which is described as a “quirky urban fairy tale."
