Community has another guest-star lined up. French Stewart is set to appear on the show and based on the description for his character, it sounds like we’re in for one very funny episode. That could be said about most Community episodes, however the description for this one is especially exciting, especially if you’re a movie fan.
Following the news that Saturday Night Live’s Taran Killam is set to appear on the NBC comedy series, comes word that former 3rd Rock from the Sun star French Stewart will be appearing on the show at some point in the future, as well. Entertainment Weekly posted the story, stating that Stewart is set to play Vincent, a celebrity impersonator.
That in itself sounds pretty funny, however it’s the episode description that had me laughing out loud in anticipation. Apparently Abed ends up in debt to Vincent, due to his goal to cast celebrity look-a-likes to reenact films. I can only imagine how these movies turn out, but hopefully we won’t have to once the episode airs. Whether or not we get to see bits of the movies, this ep sounds like more Community gold (and it’s giving me a movie-flashback of Be Kind Rewind).
Unfortunately, we have to wait until next year for this episode to air. In the meantime, if you’re a fan of Stewart, or more specifically, his voice, you’ll hear him on Fox’s Allen Gregory, which premieres on Fox on Sunday, October 30th.
