G4 Will Air Twenty-Three Hours Of E3 Coverage
I don’t like video games. I’ve only ever really been emotionally invested in four of them (Mike Tyson’s TKO Punch-Out, Super Mario Brothers I, Goldeneye and Elevator Action), but one thing I can appreciate is dedication to a cause. For example: here at TV Blend, I cover television related news as exhaustively and thoroughly as I can. Over at cable channel G4, they do the same thing with video games. In between repeats of Ninja Warrior, they hammer home all relevant news, and as video games go, few things are more relevant than the annual E3 trade show.
The festival, basically a Comic Con for gamers, runs during the second week of June, and this year G4 will expand its coverage of the event to include twenty-three hours of features. Both X-Play and Attack Of The Show will broadcast live from the festivities. In addition, the coverage will feature demos and highlights from Madden NFL 12, Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Saints Row: The Third, Bioshock Infinite, Gears Of War 3 and many more.
It’ll all kick off on Monday, June 6th at 3EST and run through Thursday the 9th. In between, there will be interviews from numerous game designers, executives and gaming-involved celebrities including Ice-T, Dwight Howard, Curt Schilling, and The Miz. Here’s a look at the schedule below…
For a more exhaustive list of features, as well as live streams during the actual event, head on over to G4TV.
