Girls Season 2: Jessa's Character Recap Includes A Funny Taxi Moment
In anticipation of the upcoming second season of Girls, HBO has been releasing character recaps for the four titular girls. Hannah's and Marnie's focused on their relationship problems. For Jessa, the emphasis does focus on her romantic life, but it's less about the problems as it is about the humor in it.
To say that Jessa's marriage to Chris O'Dowd's Thomas-John was a bit rushed would probably be an understatement, but that's Jessa. She lives by the seat of her pants and seems to be at her happiest when she's making impulsive choices. The character recap for Jessa begins with a Season 2 moment that emphasizes just how new her relationship with Thomas-John is. She doesn't know where she lives.
She doesn't seem at all panicked by the fact that she has no idea where she lives. In fact, she finds it funny, which probably sums up Jessa when it comes to these little details most people would consider crucial and/or telling of the commitment they've made. And then we cut back to Jessa's Season 1 highlights, which includes her admission that she's attracted to everyone when she meets them. So, how long before the bloom is off the rosebud for Jessa in her new marriage? There's no telling with Jessa, so we'll have to wait and see!
Girls Season 2 premieres January 13 at 9:00 p.m. on HBO.
