Girls Season 2 Promo: Episode 4 - It's A Shame About Ray

While there were appearances by Jessa and Shoshanna during last night's episode of Girls, "Bad Friend" focused mainly on Hannah's drug exploits with Elijah and Marnie's romp with her artist friend. From the preview for next Sunday's episode, "It's a Shame About Ray," it looks like Jessa and Shoshanna will be featured a bit more prominently.

The title of the episode should be enough of an indication that Shoshanna will play a bigger part in this Sunday's episode than she did in last night's. The preview review reveals a surprising little tidbit about Shoshanna and Ray's relationship that even Shoshanna apparently wasn't aware of.

So, it looks like there's still tension in Marnie's world. And speaking of tension, things appear to be in an awkward place for Jessa and her in-laws. Her marriage to Thomas John seems like a barely-tapped well of ridiculousness, but it appears we'll be seeing the next bit of drama in their relationship this Sunday night. And finally, there's Shoshanna and Ray. So he's been hanging around a lot, but apparently it hasn't occurred to Shoshanna that he's moved in with her. If that's the case, it could put a whole new spin on their relationship - like eventual insecurity that the only reason why he's with her is because he needs a place to stay? I don't want to believe that, but it's a possibility. It's also a possibility that he just didn't tell Shoshanna because he knew their relationship was too new for them to be living together.

Girls airs Sundays at 9:00 p.m. ET on HBO. As the preview notes, there's an early premiere on Saturday at 10:05 p.m. Read our breakdown of last night's episode ("Bad Friend") here.
