It's probably sort of telling that Hannah's "Character Recap" video for the upcoming second season of Girls focuses entirely on her roller coaster relationship with Adam. Sure, Lena Dunham's character has other things going on in her life, but her issues with Adam come front and center in Hannah's drama.
Much in the way Marnie's character recap video began with a moment from Season 2 before taking us back through some of the highs and lows of her relationship issues from Season 1, Hannah's recap does the same thing, beginning with Adam (with his broken leg) professing his love/dependence/obsession for Hannah and then moving backward.
They have a soap opera relationship… if soap operas ever had one character peeing on another character in the shower. Probably not. In fact, I don't think there's any relationship on television quite like Hannah and Adam's. And from what we saw at the start of the video, it looks like there's more drama to come.
