Next week is a big week for television. On November 13, the Friends: The Complete Series set is coming to Blu-ray for the first time, in a set that comes with a holographic cover, all 236 episodes of the series, over 20 hours of bonus features (including some retrospective footage), a hardcover book holder, and even a picture-filled episode guide. To celebrate, Warner Bros. has put together a nice app and video player for fans, and they are working with TV Blend to give away a copy of the Friends: The Complete Series Blu-ray to one lucky winner.
The “30 Days of Friends” app allows fans to challenge themselves with a different bit of trivia concerning the comedy and its characters. Each day, a new section of questions will be revealed, and each day fans can check out different memes and badges. For the diehard fans, this may not be too much of a challenge, but why don’t you take a look and decide how “Friendstastic” you actually are?
The Friends video player is basically a set of Friends mash-up clips, with one hitch—they aren’t all available right now. Every Thursday, a new “Friends Mash-up” clip will be revealed, so set your calendar, or you iPhone, or whatever and check them out each week. I have a love/hate relationship with this video player. It has effectively harnessed the feeling I get when I’ve finished an episode of great TV and want to move directly into the next episode. While we are on the waiting game with the player, the good thing about the full series set is that fans will never have to wait again.

Just check out these apps, click on over to our Facebook Giveaway Post, "Like" our page if you haven't already, and then leave a comment on the page telling us what your favorite trivia question or favorite mash-up moment is! The contest ends at 5 p.m. EST on Friday November 9. If you enter, please make sure we can contact you via Facebook message. If you have it set to where we can't message you, your prize will go to somebody else.
The winner will be notified via Facebook direct message and asked to provide their mailing addresses (no P.O. boxes please). Only U.S. residents over the age of 18 may apply.
