Not long after the Starz original series Spartacus: Vengeance wraps up its season on the premium cable channel, Starz has Magic City set to premiere. The first official cast photo for the period drama has made its way online and has the cast looking dressed up for a party.
Starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Olga Kurylenko, and Danny Huston, Magic City is set in the late-50’s at a luxurious hotel in Miami. While that sounds like a fine bit of fun in the sun, this photo has the cast dressed up and looking ready for the prom (or more likely, an elegant cocktail party), with formal gowns and tuxedos decorating the already pretty cast of characters.
Glamour certainly seems to be the theme here, which is fitting, given the backdrop and the story, which involves a man who turns to the mob to help finance his dream and is now caught up in two different worlds, as he’s adored by his wife and kids, and indebted to “the most dangerous criminal in town.”
