Glee 'Frenemies' Photos Tease Feuding And Auditions

Glee

It's been two months since the last new episode of Glee and fans are likely very eager for the series to return. We still have a couple of weeks to wait for that, but in the meantime, Fox has released a handful of new images, including the one above, which shows a musical moment at WMHS. There seem to be a lot of those.

Before we get to the rest of the photos, here's the official listing for "Frenemies" (courtesy of Futon Critic) to give you a bit of context, but also some SPOILERS, so if you don't want to know much about what happens in the episode, skip the text and just look at the photos...

Santana auditions and snags the role of Rachel's understudy in "Funny Girl," causing a feud between the roommates. Meanwhile, back in Lima, Tina and Artie compete against each other to be the class valedictorian in the all-new "Frenemies" episode of GLEE airing on Tuesday, Feb. 25 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

So it seems there's a bit of friendly feuding between Artie and Tina. Here's another glimpse of Artie singing, and this time he has his competition with him...

And Darren Chris' Blaine is in this one, along with Kevin McHale and Jenna Ushkowitz...

Wonder what they're singing.

Meanwhile, over in New York, Rachel gets involved in the audition process to find her understudy...

Rachel

Involved might be a nice way to put it. It looks like she's got some opinions.

The description already spoils us a bit on that arc. Speaking of which, this photo is captioned "Rachel invites Santana to participate in a photo shoot."

And it looks like she might be singing here while they make her up...

Is that how she lands the understudy part? We'll have to wait and see. In the meantime, here's the previously released teaser for Glee's "Frenemies," which airs Febaruary 25 at 8:00 p.m. (That's a Tuesday night).
