Glee Preview: NeNe Leakes, And Are Summer Nights Coming This January?
Those of you who were hoping to get a glimpse of Real Housewives’ Nene Leaks in Glee will be happy to see the photo we have to show you. We also have some very amusing photos featuring what appears to be a performance of a song from a very popular musical. Spoilers ahead!
?Want to see how Glee does Grease!? From the photos below, it looks like there may be some “Summer Nights” ahead. The photos below are from the January 17th episode titled “Yes/No,” which makes the series’ return-ep for 2012. The bleachers photos and the one of the girls at the lunch table are similar enough to the “Summer Nights” scene in Grease that it’s probably safe to assume that’s what they’re performing, but in what context? It looks like Sam and Mercedes might be taking the leads in the number, which could be a nod to their brief relationship, which was barely shown in the series before Chord Overstreet left the show.
And here’s the one of featuring NeNe Leakes. From what we’ve heard, she’s set to go head to head with Sue Sylvester, and she’s also the coach of the synchronized swim-team, which could explain why she’s in Sam’s face (he’s apparently planning to join the team).
Glee returns Tuesday, Jan. 17 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
