Glee Watch: Season 4, Episode 14 - I Do

In last night’s episode, it was the Valentine's Day episode, and with the hearts and candy came lots of drama. We had a runaway bride, lots of wedding hookups, and a pregnancy test! Oh my! Let's recap, shall we?

Valentine's Day

At McKinley High, love was in the air, and Mr. Schue was back! For this week's assignment, he assigned his Gleeks (and Finn) a fun gig: to sing at the wedding. Finn is apprehensive about it (because of the kiss) but Rachel swoops in and offers to duet with him.

Runaway Bride

Emma's OCD and irrational fears get the best of her, and she runs out of the church Julie Roberts style. Now the question is: can Will and Emma's relationship survive?

Ryder/Marley/Jake

Ryder played Cyrano de Bergerac for Jake, helping him woo Marley via a week long series of Valentine's surprises. Throughout the episode, it was pretty clear that Ryder still harbors feelings for Marley, especially when he voiced his concerns about Jake attempting to hook up with her after the wedding. By the end of the episode, Ryder decided to make his feelings known and gave Marley a big fat kiss. Uh oh.

"Hagatha Christie"

Kurt is in town and hooking up with Blaine, much to Miss Tina Cohen Chang's dismay. During the non-wedding after party, Kurt finally puts Miss Chang in her place, and is horrified to learn that Tina "vapor raped his ex-boyfriend."

Later on, Tina calms down, and Kurt and Blaine assure her that she is their best and favorite "hag" and will help her find a boyfriend. Awww.

Rachel/Brody/Finn

Regarding the Rachel/Brody/Finn triangle, we got a lot of juicy revelations this episode.

1. Rachel is not in an exclusive relationship with Brody.

2. It looks like she definitely still has feelings for Finn hence the hookup.

3. Finn tells Rachel they are "end game" i.e. no matter what they will end up together. Go Finchel!

4. Brody is a liar, and appears to have some sort of male escort side gig. Yikes!

5. Rachel has an iPhone pregnancy test app (just kidding, it was a timer).

Rachel's pregnancy test scene was huge. Will they go the Quinn route and knock Miss Berry up? Or will it just be a pregnancy scare? And timelines are vague on Glee. Could we have a Maury situation on our hands where the baby (if she is pregnant) could be Brody or Finn's? Gleeks, we're left with a cliff hanger that will last until March 7!

Hook Ups

Post non-wedding, we saw a series of hotel room hook-ups including Rachel/Finn, Artie/Betty, Kurt/Blaine, Santana/Quinn (could see that one was coming). The only couple not to get it on were Marley and Jake which I think was good thing. They need a little more time before they cross that bridge.

Also I enjoy the banter between Betty and Artie. Here's to hoping she becomes a series regular.

LOL Moment(s)

Although this episode could be considered sad because of Will and Emma's wedding being a bust; it had quite a few LOL moments. First, in true Puckerman form, Puck suggests to his baby bro that taking Marley to dinner for Valentine's Day will work because 1. She has an eating disorder and will be a cheap date. 2. He can use the leftover dinner money to buy her lingerie.

Another funny scene was when Santana said Emma's bridesmaids looked like a Carrot Top Convention. But my favorite was the appearance of Sue Sylvester in an exact replica of Emma's wedding gown. And the fact that she continued to wear it during the entire event, even chilling at the bar in her white gown, was too much.

Memorable Quotes

Jake: "Dude, you are like some kind of love genius. Do you spend all your time watching Lifetime?"

Santana: "You know we always were two ends of the same bitch-goddess spectrum. Maybe that's why we love each other so much. And slap each other."

Blaine: "This is just bros helping bros." Kurt: "I love it when you talk fratty."

Finn: "You and I both know how this thing ends. I don't know how, or when, and I don't care where you're living or what dope you're shacked up with. You're my girlfriend. We are endgame. I know that and you know that."
