Golden Globe Nominations Announced

The 64th Golden Globe Ceremony is quickly approaching and the Hollywood Foreign Press has made its nominations. The ceremony is the result of combining the movie-making people with the TV-show-making people, subtracting a lot of the formal-ness of the Oscars and Emmys and adding a lot more alcohol.

The nominations for TV categories were fairly predictable. ’24,’ ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ and ‘Ugly Betty,’ among a few others scored nominations in multiple categories but no one show appears to be dominating the nominations this year. If The Emmy’s are any indication as to what show deserves a pat on the back this year, ‘24’ will surely take home the Best Television Series (Drama) award but if they decide to go with the ratings, ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ is a shoe-in.

Below is the list of TV nominations for the 2007 Golden Globes. To view the full list (including movies), check out the story here.
