The Good Guys Preview: Whitford And Hanks Get Their Cop On
This Wednesday, Fox is set to preview the premiere episode of their new cop series The Good Guys. We have some information on the show, including video clips and video interviews of the cast.
Fox’s synopsis (below) is somewhat lengthy, so I’m going to try to paraphrase it here and hope I get the long and short of it right. The series follows Dan (Bradley Whitford) and Jack (Colin Hanks). Dan used to be a big shot detective back in the day but now he’s a washed up drunk still working but getting nowhere as he has no desire to change his ways to adapt to modern times. He’s partnered with Jack, a young, determined guy whose by-the-book nature is holding him back in his career. An opportunity arises in their careers that gives them both hope that things just might turn around for both of them. Hijinks ensues. Based on the video clips we have (below), the show looks quirky (in a good way).
Here’s Fox’s full description. Further down are some video clips from the episode, as well as video interviews with the cast of the series.
The Good Guys pilot is set to air on Wednesday, May 19, 8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT as a preview.
The official premiere will take place on June 7, 2010 and will the series will air on Mondays at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
