Good News For Some CBS Series
It looks like 11 of CBS’ series will be returning next season. The network made the announcement this week and it’s good news for the CSI series, Criminal Minds and Ghost Whisperer. Unfortunately, the fate of some CBS shows is still unknown at this point.
The LA Times reported that in addition to all three CSI series, Criminal Minds and Ghost Whisperer, CBS is also picking up NCIS, Numb3rs, Cold Case, Two and a Half Men, Without a Trace and for some reason, The Big Bang Theory. Unfortunately there’s been no news about The Unit, Shark, Rules of Engagement, The New Adventures of Old Christine or my own personal favorite (and one of the only shows I watch on CBS), How I Met Your Mother.
I’ve heard good things about Julia Louis Dreyfus’ New Adventures of Old Christine so hopefully the network will keep that one around. There’s also been no news about Moonlight. Considering that show has already begun to develop a pretty devout following of viewers, I’m willing to bet the network will have another Jericho-like nuts incident on their hands if they don’t keep the vamp series around. As for me, I just want more of the story about how Ted met his kids’ mother.
