The Goodwin Games Gets A Brand New Poster Before May Premiere On Fox
The Goodwin Games has earned a new poster to follow up Fox’s announcement that the long-awaited series has finally gotten a May premiere date. The new poster for The Goodwin Games focuses on three siblings, played by Becki Newton, T.J. Miller, and Scott Foley, who must compete against each other, as well as some random guy, to fulfill their later father’s wishes in order to inherit a large sum of money. While that should be easy, it also could lead to plenty of bickering and setbacks among the estranged children, and the starting line focused, competition-oriented poster brought to us by TV Line certainly seems to corroborate that.
We first heard about The Goodwin Games back in May of last year. When the series was greenlighted, audiences also got our first taste of the comedy via a preview. Some time later, T.J. Miller replaced Jake Lacy in the series and some time after that the series was left off of Fox’s Fall Premiere schedule, and then the midseason schedule, as well.
While not remotely true, it sort of felt like The Goodwin Games was a figment of Fox’s imagination for a while, but it’s nice to see what How I Met Your Mother executive producers Carter Bays, Craig Thomas, and Chris Harris can do with some new material. You can catch Fox’s The Goodwin Games premiere on Monday, May 20 at 8:30 p.m. ET.
